Two year 7 classes had the opportunity to develop an understanding of the link between mathematical transformation and the work of M. C. Escher the Dutch artist and mathematician.

ANIMATING LANGUAGE

The project will involve students writing descriptions of themselves using media as a medium. Jago Brown will work with Year 7 students and staff from the Modern Foreign Languages, Media and ICT departments.

The project aims to raise motivation, improve progress, address different learning styles and look at alternative ways of presenting concepts

UNDERCOVER
A Creative Partnerships Project

The project will involve students creating an area of shelter in the school grounds using CAD.

The project aims: (1) To enhance pupils' awareness of space as art / way of communicating environmental issues.(2) To explore perceptions of influencing outside structure with pupil involvement.(3) To explore the use of preferred learning styles.
